i am repairing an early frame, it has no gearbox lug so can give no exact age, it has the distinctive headset lug.My two donor frames are 1919 and 1920 so one will provide the missing section. My question would a 1912 frame have an acetylene generator fitting and does one of these1912 frames have lug for the foot brake pedal? now less academic this 1920 frame has some old damage that could have been caused by a bullet is it possible this motorbike has been to the war then back to the factory been stamped then sent to new zealand,hows that for drawing a long bow, We do have bullets in new zealand but its not common to shoot them at motorbikes.
