Plus Carb
« on: 06 Dec 2010 at 19:34 »
Hi All
Would it be possible if anyone could tell me what the type of Amal carburettor was fitted to both the 80 and 90 plus models.
Thanks.

Hi Mart,
The standard carbs fitted to the 'Plus' series were Amal 276's - 15/16" bore with clip fixing and bottom feed float chambers. (Douglas part no. SA2774 and SA 2775). Amal 'TT' carbs were also offered as an alternative for Pluses that were stripped down for racing.
                           Regards,
                                        Eddie.
