Location of DT frame number

HI doug,
            Thanks again for all the info,wondered if you could tell me where abouts on the frame the frame number should be on the DT5 ?I cant find it on the head stock or gearbox lug/bracket area.

Left-hand side of the gearbox mounting lug; look behind and slightly above the mounting studs along the horizontal portion of the socket for the frame tube. Possibly obscured by paint. Will be TF prefix and three or four digits. There will also be a superimposed DK trademark either before or after, so do not miss-read that for part of the serial number.
