S1 Tank?

To All,

I have a basket case of a tank which I believe to be an S1 tank.

The tank is

9.75" wide (at the widest point)
3.75" high
25.25" in length. (same as the normal 2 3/4 flat tank for a TS etc.)

The gear selector hole lines up with the gear change bracket on the frame. It appears I am answering my own question but I want to be sure before I go and get the tank rebuilt.

I have attached a couple of photos for information. Can someone please confirm that this is a S1 tank. (or close to)

Just been to the shed and measured my tank and it measured 10 across the tank at the front mounting holes and 7 across the tank at the rear mounting holes. The overall length would be 28. It is a much bigger tank than the TS.

My original tank was forwarded to Eric Bourne in Sydney for a pattern for his S1 not sure of his progress but if unsuccessful you can come my way and take some measurements.

The tank is the same length as a TS (I must have typed the wrong measurement, should be 28.25"). A TS tank fits nicely in the frame so I am confident that length is correct.

Your width measurements match to what I have so it must be a S1 tank albeit a wreck, but good enough to use the fittings and get a replica made.
