Identification required Post War Gearbox

Hello All,   Latest member to the forum  >  terry <   has sent me a personal message with an enquiry on what he has been told is a douglas dragon fly gearbox No  33686.   Although I have been an owner of a few post war models in the past I have only one basket case of Mk 4 & 5 at the moment as my specialty is in pre 35 models. I think  that most of the Mk model  boxes would proably have T/35 prefix. Anyway over to the experts.   And yes Terry welcome to the forum.  If you can provide more info use the reply at the bottom of this message .    regards Al

Alan, I dont think it is a Dragonfly box, as most of them were stamped with the same number as the frame and engine. Most Mark series gearboxes had a four figure number, but some had a 'B' prefix - so maybe this number is actually B3686 - in which case it probably falls in the Mark 3-4 series.
