The London Douglas Motor Cycle Club has numerous mechanical replacment items manufactured for the 2-3/4hp models, which ended production in 1926. Things like pistons, valves, valve springs, etc. If it is a 2-3/4hp, there were some 25K of these made between 1907 and 1925, post WW1 models are quite common. So finding spares is not as bad as for other makes of the same time period, and parts interchange between years quite a bit. Like many bikes though, good sheetmetal is worth its weight in gold. There were two configurations available in '25, a 3-speed with clutch, all chain drive called the CW. And a clutchless 2-speed belt drive 'clearence' model called the TS. Also late in '25 the replacment to the 2-3/4hp models started to turn up, the EW model. Except for the post-WW2 models, the 2-3/4hp Douglases are the most common Douglas about. Frame number is on the lug the gearbox mounts to, engine number is on the top side of the case. They will not match exactly, components were batch built then assembled. For 1925 the numbers should fall between 74501-84200 approximately.
