Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Just 6 weeks now until a bunch of intrepid enthusiasts meet at Halls Gap - Victoria. Confirmed entries have risen to 31 with 54 people (including wives/partners/families) attending to date. I have been waiting for the tradional 'last minute rush' but the letterbox has been a bit bare this past week or two.

The organizing committee have been working diligently to provide a worthwhile 3-4 days. We will be checking out some of the most scenic views in the Grampians range, visiting a private museum (containing Douglas motorcycles/ stationary engines, enjoying a guided tour of an historic jail and visiting the home of Australia's famous foot race - the Stawell Gift.

Ideally another 6 - 8 entries will 'cap the rally off'. Accommodation is still available and late entries will be readily accepted. This rally offers any Douglas enthusiast, the opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts from all over Australia, NZ and the USA., as well as view a wonderful variety of Douglas machines.

please contact me to answer any questions, rally information, provide an entry form.
