Another one with red panels on the tank! I really think this must have been an option in the day, I've seen a few now

Cw frame number starts with CF, also the rear wheel will have a sprocket for chain drive. That's a Ts wheel there currently.

They are very similar either way. There is a website Bert Pol vintage motorcycles, he has the gearbox pulley, gear change rod, lever, as well the cast high and low plate, does the brake levers as well.

I got a copy of an old postcard from one of my members

Hello,
As far as I can tell, the frames on the early Douglas motorcycles were always black.
But if the factory or dealer was asked for a special request, they might comply.
I have enclosed a postcard dated January 18, 1923 from Bristol to Manchester.
The back is quite dirty so it is hard to read, but that is what it says;

INDIVIDUALITY
Have you ever noticed the monotonous
"sameness" of motorcycles in general? Take
a particular brand and you will find that the finish is
lacks individuality. How would you like to
be forced to wear the same socks, the
same tie and the same hat as the other guy?
There is no need for this "sameness" ----Buy
a Coram Douglas and have the tank finished to your
Finished to your specifications . It won't cost you anything extra.
Make a note of some of these artistic
Color Schemes: -

Lemon with chocolate panels and single chocolate lines.
Robin Egg Blue, with Douglas Blue panels and blue lines.
Chocolate with gold leaf panels and single white lines.
Black with crimson panels and white lines.
