I appreciate that this is a long shot but I wondered if anyone from NW England is going to either the LDMCC rally or the VMCC’s Founders Day event and may have some spare load space?
I am down in Cornwall and have agreed the purchase of a unique Douglas project from Cumbria and if possible would like to avoid driving there and back. The project consists of a frame and engine so realistically it would need space in a van, large estate car or on a trailer.
As I’m heading “up country” to both of the above events it seemed a possible solution worth exploring. Vendor doesn’t wish to pack/palletise for a courier which I quite accept.
My fallback solution is to offer SWMBO a weekend away in the Lake District!!
Beer tokens would be made available in return for transport assistance.
