I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

In order to assist in planning and negotiations for catering etc, it would be appreciated if intending participants would advise by responding to this posting, preferably with your name if your name is not in your profile.
Please refer to previous two postings re dates and accommodation.
It is intended to try to keep the entry fees to within the "ballpark" of the Centenary Rally, ie $140 per entry.
All attendees at the Centennial Rally will be notified shortly by email or "snail" mail if response is not received.
Please indicate number of attendees in your party, preferably again with names.
Please advise other Douglas riders if possible.
Response can also be made to:

I'll be there, as will my brother and my mate Ian Coulston. I also spoke to Eric Bourn, and he intends to go as well.

Registering your intention to attend the rally...

The Planning Group has decided to dispense with the requirement for entrants to complete an official 'Expression of Interest' form for this rally. Nor will entrants be asked to pay an advance deposit in this instance.

However, it is important to the proper planning and success of the event that the Planning Group has an indication of numbers intending to attend.

The Planning Group therefore appeals to everyone who intends to attend the rally and who have not already registered their interest on this forum or by e-mail, to register their intention to attend now.

You may advise your intention by posting a reply on this board as others have done (see posts above) or by e-mail addressed to the Planning Group.
If you are responding by e-mail, please use the e-mail link at the left of this message beneath the avatar.

Alternatively if you prefer, you may advise Peter Davey, (Rally Director), directly of your intention by telephoning him on (02) 6296 2209 (mobile 0413 132 209) or you can drop him a short note addressed to 7 Tolmer Place, Kambah, ACT 2902.

If you have recently received a personal e-mail requesting that you register your intention to attend and have responded to that e-mail or intend to respond shortly, that is or will be sufficient notice of your intention and you may disregard this further appeal.

All that is required at this point is your full name. If you are responding other than by e-mail please also advise your postal address and telephone number to enable us to communicate with you. Should you respond on behalf of other entrants as well as yourself in one communication, please ensure that a contact address is provided for each entrant nominated.

It's important – please do it now!
