Vintage motorcycle videos
« on: 08 Mar 2007 at 15:17 »
Hi,
I just found these cool links on Videotube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YafTdL9BlOU&mode=related&search
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYOg8mLjruE

Unfortunately there is no Douglas Video (but Vincent, Ducati, Bruff, Indian,...)there! (Despite this I'm confident as I own the also the same James Model 12).

Does anybody know similar resources with Douglas videos?

Regards Rudolf

Cool videos indeed - can you imagine? - 100 mph on a 1920's Brough and 'look Mum - no bleep hands!' - a great find - thanks Rudolf for bringing the link forward. There's more there too!

PS There's a great video produced on DVD by Spectel called "The Douglas Story" - it's available from the LDMCC for a cool 59 UK pounds - expensive but great viewing.  A.

Alwyn. The Spectel advertisement in the Nov/Dec New Conrod gave the prices of "The Douglas Story" as DVD in PAL format as £20.00 in the UK and £23.00 for Australia including P&P or as a Video, cheaper at £17.00 and £20.00 respectively. The Video is also available in NTSC and SECAM formats.
