What size spanner for tappets on a Douglas 600?

Which one?

A 600cc 4hp, OB, OC, 600EW, E/F28-29, DT6, T6/S6, F/G31-32, OW1, Wessex, Greyhound, 600Aero?

Ian,

O.k., that I can answer. The 250/350/500/600cc Aero tappet adjuster has a 3/8 inch hex milled on it. The jam nut is 7/16 inch. Not sure why they did not just use the prevailing Whitworth wrench hex sizes, but they didn't.
