90+ rear wheel
« on: 08 Nov 2015 at 20:00 »
Wanted - 90+ rear brake drum and backplate.
I have a spare 90+ front brake backplate and shoes which I can exchange or will sell if I can find the rear wheel parts?
I also have for disposal what I think is a competition model rear wheel complete with drum and sprocket.
Thanks,
Roger

Hi Roger,

I have borrowed a back plate for a 90+.
Can you confirm if it is correct and if so I will produce a pattern
Regards Tony

Hi Tony,
As Roger hasn't replied, I can confirm that this is a 'Plus' brakeplate (hole for grease nipple is in the casting rather than the end of the cam).

  Regards,
               Eddie.

Looks right to me - boss for brake lever is larger than a Mark, and has the flat on the rear face to take the grease nipple. Also only one tapped hole for the chain guard, as opposed to two on a Mark.
Best wishes,
Roger

Two holes for the chainguard on Mk1 & 3. Single hole on Mk4 & 5. These holes are plain (no thread) - the flanged stud just has a nut on the inside.
  Regards,
                Eddie.

Roger, do you still have the wheel and spare front brake?
