t35 advice needed

hi all any ideas on what plate is for?? In timing case and markings been put on clutch plate?not read anything about marks in manual??

Hi Graham,
                  The markings on the clutch are obviously a previous owners attempt at accurately setting the valve and ignition timing. The large markings are at 10 degree intervals, with smaller markings at 2½ degree intervals.
 Regarding the plate in the timing chest - the only purpose I can think of, is that it may have been fitted as a baffle to deflect oil spray if an auxiliary breather had been fitted to the oil filler plug.

              Yes oil filler has been well modified with non return valve (I can blow out but not in)pipe goes to chain cover was very well done.
 Yes I thought they were timing marks but never could get my head around using them.
Also Eddie could you recommend someone to rebuild a crank and rebore as I dont want to take to any body I live  in Essex??
