Wheel reatauration
« on: 12 Nov 2012 at 13:25 »
I would like to publish here the Austrian company "Oldtimerreifen" www.oldtimerreifen.at, experts in restauration of any kind of wheels. I called Norbert Moser, he is the owner and 3 days after he picked up my rusty wheels of my EW 350. No tyres, broken and missing spokes, rusty drums. After two weeks he brought back to my home two finished wheels looking better than new. Turned drums, rims and drums painted in black, new Ni-plated spokes (Kleeblatt brand), Ensign tyres 24" by 2 1/4". I would recommend this firm to all Douglas owners.

Regards
Andreas

Considering the quality and pick up/bring back is 600 EUR per wheel a fair price I think. What is your idea, Eddie?
