Douglas machines for sale
« on: 09 Jun 2007 at 00:45 »
OK, here is a big list!
For anyone wanting more info, please mail me info@gig-bags.com
I have now for sale 2 x 80+ bikes.
One has matching engine and frame nos and the other is the ex Norman Cammamile machine.

The first with matching nos has a new Alpha crank and been put together by a real engineer(my father) no wondering about TDC here.
It has new Honda pistons and everything is there for rebuild. The motor is already built as a short motor.
Tank, wheels, brakes, engine and cog bag are there including mudguards and toolboxes.

Second machine, the Norman one, does not have matching numbers but the log book is there.
The engine has been built by Norman and looks good and turns fine.  most parts are there. A spare frame/swingarm is available.
Again, frame, engine, cog bag, mudguards, fuel tank, toolboxes, chain case etc etc is available for this machine.
The carbs and heads are real beuties!

New brake linings etc are available.

Next up we have a MKIV. It is complete and I got it running after many years laying about, but it ceased with poor club pistions.
Interesting going up the road sideways though!
Hung on and then rode it home.

Now we have a B29.
Very rare.
Frame powder coated, engine and box built again by a proper engineer, not and ex bank manager.
New rims and spokes.
Everything is there apart from lighting.
I have a new tank arriving from Aus shortly. The forum will know about that though, as they kindly list these items on their site.

I will not break these bikes as it has never been in my nature.
They will not go cheap, so put in a decent offer and it could be yours.

Sorry Joe,
The B29 and indeed the pair of 80+ are no longer available.
They are the rare items and never hang around long.

Thanks

Tom
