I am in the process of assembling a B29 (1929) 350cc machine and I am looking for information, parts breakdowns or close up photo's to help in the assembling of this machine. Also information needed on obtaining felt seals for the wheel bearing assemblies.and head stems etc.
Any help or discussion on the above matter would be much appreciated.

John Withers has re-prints that cover the B29. The following might be of interest:

Care & Maintenance 350 all models 1926-30, 32 page Illustrated $18 VIN211
Spare Parts List A28, B28, C28, B29 & L29 1928-29 36 pages $18 VIN212

His advert and contact details are here.

I do have some pictures of a very original L3, quite similar, but I would have to dig them out and scan them in (pre-digital.)

Thanks Guys
I have already contacted John Withers and I am in the process of buying the spare parts manual, as I already have the care and maintenance manual. Doug at this stage hold off on the photo's as I have been digging through my Douglas literature and found the original negatives of the photo's I had taken before stripping the bike.
Doug after leafing through old copies of the New Conrod I noticed you were restoring a A31, have you completed the restoration ? if not I am in possession of a fairly complete frame for a A31 and may be of some assistance to you.
regards
